Railway to Modi’in – Section 8
The project included: Bridge 14 – a 250 meter long bridge constructed using the incremental system, 300 meter tunnel 12 beneath Highway 1 constructed using the Cut & Cover method, 220 meter tunnel 13. The front structure consists of arches covered in stone.
The project includes: Bridge 14 – 250 meters long, constructed using the incremental method. Tunnel 12 under Route 1 – approximately 300 meters long, constructed using the CUT&COVER method. Tunnel 13, 220 meters long. The front part is composed of arches with stone covering.
Retaining walls built with reinforced soil with a total length of approximately 8,000 meters and a height of 12 meters.
